The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. You will be exposed to Google’s support and services operations across a wide range of products and customers. You will be responsible for aligning vertical operating teams across gTech, and will work cross-functionally with finance, vertical gTech teams, Sales Operations, and People Operations on developing plans, and setting and monitoring gTech’s performance against our business goals. You’ll also provide thought leadership by delivering compelling analyses to support data-driven decision making. You will have the opportunity to shape how we deliver customer care and how we drive efficiencies across a global operations team. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding portfolio tradeoffs, defining business metrics, and business performance management. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Develop and coordinate a robust, data driven business planning process and annual goals, and land the business plan in partnership with stakeholders. Build the processes and reporting needed to monitor performance against plans. Evaluate large, complex data sets from multiple sources to identify trends and solve complex problems. Drive business judgment, market understanding, problem solving, and fact-based analysis to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems. Structure and package data and analyses to drive insight via compelling communication/presentations for a broad set of stakeholders/audiences. Act as a strategic partner to the business supporting the leadership on service transformations, operational accuracy, organizational initiatives, and helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic vision. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Technical). Experience implementing strategic and large-scale initiatives projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity. Experience with analytical tools/techniques (SQL, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, etc.). Superb problem-solving, project management and business planning skills, with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives. Knowledge of best practices in business operations and of service operations, customer support operations, and internet/online media. Proven ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems. We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
