About the Role The Pricing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing pricing strategies for high-end and luxury freight forwarding accounts. This role requires balancing market competitiveness with premium service positioning, ensuring that quotations reflect both operational costs and the value-added services expected by luxury clients (fashion, furniture, art, design).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely air and ocean freight quotations (FCL/LCL, white-glove, express).
Analyze carrier contracts, surcharges, and fuel updates to ensure quotes remain competitive while aligned with premium service standards.
Support tender processes, consolidating data and preparing pricing proposals.
Monitor global rate trends (air/ocean), GRI announcements, blank sailings, and capacity constraints.
Benchmark against competitors to position our offering as premium but sustainable.
Partner with sales and key account managers to design bespoke pricing solutions for luxury clients.
Communicate clearly with clients on cost drivers, surcharges, and value-added components.
Liaise with operations to validate feasibility of pricing commitments (equipment, transit times, warehouse handling).
Work closely with finance to ensure profitability and margin protection.
Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing, ideally with exposure to fashion / luxury / project cargo.
Strong knowledge of air & ocean freight markets and carrier rate structures.
High attention to detail; ability to work with complex tariffs and surcharges.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Excel, pricing tools, and internal CRM.
