Account Strategist, Paid Media (Remote US) - Future Opening

Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation to focus on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional MQLs, offering Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to clients through comprehensive digital marketing strategies that help clients hit their SQL targets. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a key member of the Paid Media team. You will work directly with our enterprise clients, communicate results, create custom strategies, and execute Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing Paid strategies for enterprise SaaS businesses. Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts Serve as direct support to client contacts Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align on tasks, quality, and improvements Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network Build strategies for clients each quarter Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels Understand client positioning and unique value propositions Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization Work with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved Execute and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize ROI What You Offer

3+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency Experience with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting Expertise across paid search and paid social (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and others) Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager Strong understanding of PPC principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization Ability to analyze campaign data using Google Analytics/GA4/Excel or other analytics tools to drive decisions Ability to drive results and measure via OCT Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts Ability to translate strategy into data-driven narratives Problem-solver with a competitive, curious mindset Keeps up with industry trends and seeks opportunities to grow and share Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects Committed to quality and sustainable advertising practices Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed What Success Looks Like

We have a set living wage at Directive. The annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $70,000 - $95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility. This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and experience.
