Assistant Professor of Biology (Dublin Campus)
Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi‑campus public institution with campuses in Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins, is seeking a tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Biology for its School of Health and Natural Sciences. The appointment will begin fall 2026.

Job Summary The role involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Responsibilities include leading undergraduate biology courses, developing curriculum, supervising research, and serving on departmental and university committees. Travel between the Dublin campus, Cochran campus, and other MGA campuses may be required.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate biology courses in day, evening, online, or hybrid formats as required.
Develop and revise curriculum and learning materials.
Mentor undergraduate students and support course diversity and inclusion.
Participate in departmental and university committees and community outreach.
Encourage and oversee undergraduate research opportunities.
Travel among MGA campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Biology or a closely related field.
Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with supervising undergraduate research.
Track record of scholarship and research in biology.
