The Opportunity

This role is responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers to ensure the organization receives high-quality materials at competitive prices and on time. You will play a key role in evaluating supplier performance, negotiating terms, and coordinating purchasing activities to meet current and future business needs. What You’ll Work On

Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, timing, and reliability.

Recognize and leverage sales, promotional campaigns, and cost-saving opportunities.

Assess supplier products for compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Analyze and evaluate bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations.

Negotiate pricing and delivery conditions to secure favorable terms.

Commit to purchases within established authority limits in the organization’s best interest.

Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase requisitions to align purchasing with demand.

Monitor quality and timeliness of delivered goods and materials.

Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Communicate order status and updates to internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Science, Business, or Financial Degrees.

1-3 years of Procurement experience.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Ability to interpret inventory and production documents.

Experience in supplier evaluation and procurement processes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role.

Familiarity with tender and bid evaluation processes.

Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in procurement systems or ERP tools.
