Job Description As a CT Technologist at MUSC, you play a pivotal role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. Your responsibilities include collaborating with care teams to ensure precise imaging procedures and contributing to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.
Education Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
Required Registration/Certification
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
ARRT CT Registration
must be obtained within 1 year in this position .
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is
required .
Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
