The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a
Pastry Cook I
to join the Culinary team. After a redesign and expansion, the resort remains a premier destination on Coronado Island with 28 acres, 750+ rooms, and multiple F&B outlets.

Full-Time
Shift:
Must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this role is $24.32. This rate is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Responsibilities
Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensure production requirements are met for all aspects of banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries.
Monitor age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards.
Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulations.
Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed.
Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications.
Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
