Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team with essential tasks. - Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage billing operations, ensuring invoices are issued and tracked correctly.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle invoice processing, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile financial accounts to identify and correct any errors.
- Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle for financial data management.
- Generate financial reports and provide analysis as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks to support the accounting department. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in billing and invoice processing.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
