We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in the Fox Valley. In this role, you will handle invoice processing, coding, and payment preparation to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our accounts payable department. Apply correct coding to invoices in accordance with company policies. - Manage check runs and prepare payments for vendor accounts. - Utilize Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software for financial tracking and reporting. - Ensure compliance with company procedures and financial regulations. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. - Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable workflow. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. - Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs. - Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. - High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
