Overview

We are looking for a

Lead Engineer PTP– Finance Technology

to oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions supporting the

Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

workstream in Finance Technology pillar within Global Technology Solutions (GTS) group. This role requires deep functional expertise in

Accounts Payable, Procurement (direct and indirect), Supplier Lifecycle Management, Matching, and Travel & Expense (T&E)

processes , along with strong hands-on technical experience in cross-functional integration, automation, and analytics. As a techno-functional SME, you will drive projects end-to-end from requirements through delivery partnering with multiple Finance business functions and GTS teams to implement scalable, high-quality, and compliant financial solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical and functional depth, process expertise, and a forward-thinking approach to problem solving with innovation and automation. This position will also lead a small team of engineers and vendor partners, providing direction, guidance, in a matrixed structure to ensure successful and timely delivery of solutions and support. Responsibilities

Lead the Procure-to-Pay technology workstream, ensuring strategic alignment with business and enterprise objectives. Gather and analyze business requirements, define solution designs, and lead development, testing, and deployment activities. Drive system design, configuration, integration, and reporting for procurement, payables, and expense management solutions. Lead initiatives to automate invoice processing, supplier onboarding, approvals, and payments. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure end-to-end process alignment and governance. Manage integrations with banks, vendors, and external procurement or expense platforms. Design and optimize dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for spend visibility and operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to SOX, audit, and internal control requirements across P2P and T&E systems. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, including vendor resources, ensuring consistent standards and best practices. Partner with architecture, data, and DevOps teams to ensure scalability, stability, and modernization of finance solutions. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance process efficiency and compliance. Promote Agile delivery practices, effective sprint planning, and collaboration using Jira or similar tools. Oversee test planning, UAT coordination, and deployment activities with strong quality assurance oversight. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in ERP or Finance Technology roles with at least 1+ year in a lead or engineering leadership capacity. Deep functional expertise in: Accounts Payable and Invoice Processing; Procurement (Direct and Indirect); Travel & Expense Management; Matching and Supplier Lifecycle Processes. Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end: from requirements and design through build, testing, delivery, and hypercare. Strong SQL scripting and data analysis skills for validation, troubleshooting, and reporting. Experience in system integrations, workflow automation, and process improvement. Familiarity with financial governance, audit, and SOX compliance. Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira/ADO for Devops management Strong analytical thinking, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. Preferred Requirements: Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion Cloud, or SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management) systems Experience with integration and scheduling tools such as

Control-M ,

Kafka , or equivalent middleware platforms. Hands-on experience using testing tools for system validation and regression cycles, ie: Jira Zephyr. Benefits The annual base salary range is $102,500 - $150,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
