The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full-time
Program Coordinator
for the EWU at Bellevue College (BC) Programs. Under general direction, this position coordinates specialized off-campus program and online operations for the College of Professional Programs. Primary support will be to students and programs involved in the EWU at Bellevue College program, with additional services to online students and programs within the college. The position provides support to the Directors of involved programs; coordinates special projects; facilitates logistics and interfaces with Bellevue College; assists with marketing, recruiting, and website management; and provides technical, administrative, and student support services. The position exercises independent judgment regarding program policies and contracts and implements program procedures. It independently advises students, staff, and the public regarding the programs and the University, engaging in recruiting activities and acting as liaison to local organizations, including BC. The role involves extensive interaction with students, staff, and the public to carry out program activities and to coordinate, schedule, and monitor activities to align with goals. The position reports to a designee from the College of Professional Programs. Salary Information:
The salary for this position is $44,868 – $51,612. The starting salary within this range depends on education, experience, and skills. Conditions of Employment:
During employment, this position will handle university funds or other items of value; includes unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults, or children under 16. The offer is contingent upon successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning employment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position. All new employees will comply with EWU Immunization Policy and provide proof of immunity or vaccination to MMR before beginning work. Waivers for immunization are available for medical or religious beliefs. This position is covered by the WFSE EWU CBA. After starting, employees will complete required training via Canvas. Workplace Belonging training will be available and should be completed by the specified deadline. Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent and two (2) years of experience providing complex program support services involving students (beyond entry level)
Position-Specific Qualifications:
Strong computer skills with two (2) years of full-time work experience using a variety of software programs and experience with website development and maintenance
Two (2) years of full-time work experience maintaining both manual and electronic records
Two (2) years of full-time work experience handling a high-volume of customer service (100+ daily) with:
Communication with diverse customers (including agencies, practicum and internship placements, community professionals, internal staff, students, and applicants)
Verbal, phone, email, and written communication
Overlapping deadlines and strong attention to detail
Perseverance, initiative, and the ability to work independently or with interruptions

Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) or more years of college coursework

Assist with application questions and documentation for domestic and international students
Attend transfer and recruiting events
Work with BC to ensure students are coded and given BC ID numbers and access

Assist with student application, admission and registration processes, and progression through the program
Provide general education advising
Conduct initial meetings with students and refer to appropriate major programs for program-specific advising
Assist students in accessing services on the main EWU campus and BC campus

Manage and purchase office supplies as needed
Assist in writing, completion and presentation of reports and special projects
Provide programmatic support to Directors including work on program development, marketing and implementation
Plan and implement student orientations, informational talks, and workshops
Plan and implement graduation ceremonies and special events

Represent the programs at public, program, and College functions
Coordinate program information with EWU programs

Provide routine support related to hardware and software, assessment materials, networking, and setting up accounts; refer problems to IT
Assist students with EagleNet, Canvas, and web technologies
Provide administrative support to Directors

Coordinate administrative standards for related departmental functions
Use EagleNet, Banner, Canvas and other software to assist staff and students
Maintain office computers and equipment with IT support
