Accountant
A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This position is based out of their Melville office and provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a mission-driven environment.

$65,000-$75,000/year

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard business hours

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Analyze general ledger accounts for month-end and year-end closing
Manage aging reports, vendor accounts, invoicing, and scheduled payments
Perform account analysis and prepare work papers
Utilize the company financial system (INFOR) for accounting functions
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
