We are looking for passionate innovators to join our Generative AI and Embedded Software Integrated Solutions (GenESIS) team, where you\'ll help shape the next generation of embedded platform software powering Blue Origin\'s space vehicles. You\'ll work at the convergence of mission-critical embedded systems and cutting-edge Generative AI technology. Role Title

Your Impact as a Senior Software Engineer You will be part of a highly collaborative team, developing essential platform software (drivers, middleware/IO, and more) and innovative tools for varied spaceflight systems. You will have opportunities to deepen technical specialization or expand into new domains, while making meaningful contributions. Your work will enable every Blue Origin business unit to safely and reliably transport people and payloads to orbit and beyond. Join an exciting development program to gain hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle, suitable for expanding your skillset at any career stage Build cutting-edge platform software for embedded avionics systems, including device drivers, middleware, and applications powering next-generation aerospace technology Partner closely with hardware and systems engineers to shape software requirements and enable seamless integration across multiple hardware platforms Contribute to architecture and design discussions that influence the future of embedded systems Drive innovation through performance optimization and scalable, portable software solutions Ensure high quality by conducting testing, debugging, and performance analysis across varied hardware environments Create clear, comprehensive documentation including requirements, design specifications, and API references to benefit the team Mentor through collaborative code reviews and constructive feedback that elevates capabilities Collaborate to integrate avionics platform software into a varied portfolio of products Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in embedded software development Proficiency in C/C++ programming Deep understanding of real-time systems, multitasking, and synchronization in embedded environments Experience with software loaders, device drivers, middleware (I/O, BIT), hardware abstraction, and low-level interfaces Knowledge of multiple hardware architectures (ARM, x86) and RTOS/Linux embedded environments Experience with CI/CD environments and tools such as Gitlab, Jira, Confluence Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork experience Excellent communication skills and commitment to collaborative team culture Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with NASA Core Flight Software (CFE) Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT) Experience in safety-critical software development within aerospace, automotive, or similar industries Compensation

Compensation ranges vary by location: CA applicants $177,567.00-$248,593.80; CO applicants $163,272.00-$228,579.75; WA applicants $177,567.00-$248,593.80. Other site ranges may differ. Culture and Compliance
