Data Analytics Manager

SECO Energy (Sumter Electric Cooperative) Location: Groveland, FL Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 General Purpose of Job
The Data Analytics Manager leads SECOs enterprise data strategy to support grid modernization, renewable integration, and operational excellence. This role oversees development of advanced analytics, dashboards, forecasting models, and data pipelines that transform raw operational data into actionable intelligence. The manager establishes data governance frameworks, ensures data integrity, and enables data?driven decision?making across all departments, partnering closely with IT, accounting, engineering, operations, and strategy teams to drive adoption of analytics tools, build data literacy, and foster a culture of evidence?based planning for grid reliability and DER dispatch. Qualifications Education:
Minimum: Four?year bachelors degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (masters preferred). Preferred: Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist or Data Engineer Associate, DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), PMP certification. Experience:
Minimum: Five plus years in utility or energy analytics roles, including supervisory experience. Preferred: Operational and customer data from AMI, OMS, DERMS, GIS; proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau); experience with data governance, data architecture, advanced analytics; experience within an electric utility or related industry. Technical Skills:
Extensive data governance frameworks expertise, scalable data pipeline & cloud platform knowledge (Azure/AWS), machine learning & predictive modeling (Python, R), business intelligence & reporting, regulatory compliance (NERC CIP, NIST). Other Requirements:
Ability to operate office equipment; flexibility for irregular hours; 8?hour Monday?Friday schedule; successful background checks.
