Full-time As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking an experienced
Director Business Development – Pharma
to lead and grow our international business development team, with a strong focus on
Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Toxicology, and Medical Information services . Your Role
As
Director Business Development – Pharma , you will: Lead, mentor, and expand
a growing team of business development professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Define and implement the
global commercial strategy
for our Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Toxicology, and Medical Information services. Drive
strategic partnerships
with biotech, mid-size and large pharmaceutical companies, leveraging your
international network
to expand QbD’s footprint. Act as a
trusted advisor
to clients, translating complex scientific and regulatory challenges into tailored service solutions. Identify and pursue
new market opportunities , shaping multi-year growth plans aligned with QbD’s strategic vision. Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, vigilance, and medical experts to design integrated service offerings. Represent QbD Group at international conferences and industry associations, strengthening brand visibility and thought leadership. Report directly to
Chief Commercial Officer
and contribute to QbD’s strategic leadership team. What You Bring
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a
Life Sciences or business-related field . 15+ years of experience
in commercial leadership roles within the
pharmaceutical or life sciences industry . Proven business development track record in
regulatory affairs,
pharmacovigilance, toxicology, and medical information services , with a
strong international network
in these domains. Demonstrated success in
leading and scaling business development teams , driving revenue growth across multiple geographies. Deep understanding of the
regulatory landscape and lifecycle of medicinal products . Exceptional
strategic thinking and stakeholder management
skills; comfortable interacting with C-level executives. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset. Fluent in English; other European languages are an asset. Willingness to travel across Europe as needed. What’s in It for You
