The Data Governance Analyst (Data Integration Senior Analyst - C12) is responsible for facilitating / executing the day-to-day activities that support the execution, enablement and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and/or support of use cases through collaboration with Functions, Regions and Lines of Business. An ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise are required. The role requires sound analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material from various sources to support with business requirement documents, data issues and analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings

Examines and evaluates project status, including identifying potential risks and issues that need escalation or change and proposing solutions to project leads

Determines appropriateness, checks quality, and guides revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums

Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program / project, and associated dependencies. Allocate / coordinate work within team or project group

Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions to resolve complex problems, and by interpreting and advising on policies, guidelines or processes

Liaises with multiple data teams/departments, and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes

Independently conducts analysis and executes tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance and taxonomy

Develops and articulates business requirements and maps current and future state processes

Contributes tactically to strategic design and process improvement project implementation across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations and other support organizations

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

6+ years relevant experience in the financial services sector, demonstrating comprehensive familiarity with banking and finance operations, regulations, and industry best practice

Solid understanding and practical knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality, data privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance

Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing complex projects, delivering results on time and within scope

Demonstrated agility and adaptability in adjusting priorities and navigating dynamic environments to meet evolving business needs

Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives

Strong foundational knowledge of data concepts

Excellent communication skills, capable of developing and delivering compelling multi-mode communications tailored to diverse audiences, fostering consensus, and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels

Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities, with a keen capacity to synthesize complex information, identify underlying patterns, and "connect the dots" to derive strategic insight

Highly proactive and self-motivated, consistently taking initiative to anticipate needs, address challenges, and drive improvements

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, utilizing these tools to analyze data, create impactful presentations, and communicate complex information effectively

Skilled in facilitating and leading productive meetings, ensuring clear objectives, fostering engagement, and driving actionable outcomes

Education

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
