We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst to become a team member for the RUBY Business team within Treasury, and partner with the Global Process Owners (GPO) in process standardization and design, ensuring these processes are enabled through standard data and technology platforms. This group provides a single interface to technology for Finance and Risk strategic initiatives which will allow for one integrated view of the Risk/Finance technology design and architecture and prioritization of technology initiatives. With our Technology partners, we drive toward a common infrastructure. The team operates Citi’s forecast platform used for Interest Rate Risk, CCAR, and internal financial forecasting exercises. The team is involved in supporting both regulatory‑required external forecast scenarios as well as internally focused planning and analytical exercises. This role offers the prospective candidate extensive exposure to various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi, including interaction with multiple levels within the organization, and enhances analytical, communication, teamwork, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities
Execute existing forecast processes while collaborating with business and technology partners to identify and develop enhancements, improvements, and new functionality. Engage in technology development using both traditional lifecycle and agile approaches for pressing regulatory items. Perform both individual analytical work and team collaboration to identify solutions to business inquiries, owning implementation and execution steps to resolve open issues independently. Maintain attention to detail and work under tight deadlines, contributing to team decisions including project prioritization, platform direction, and future state planning. Define information and refine process requirements in partnership with Global Process Owners, Operations, and Technology, supporting an active forecasting engine and balancing conflicting priorities. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business or financial analysis. Experience analyzing actual and forecast results, especially Balance Sheet and Treasury. Seasoned experience working with large data sets. Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel, Access, SQL, Python). Strong communication and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. Strong relationship‑building skills with a keen ability to provide direct guidance and technology consulting. Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills. Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills. Education
Bachelor’s/University degree. Location
