CA II is responsible for consultative assignments including program evaluation, policy analysis, planning, and training. The role focuses on underground economy investigations, recordkeeping, and statistical reporting for the TRUE Task Force, specifically TRUE intellectual property fraud and sales tax investigations.

Pay & Compensation Base pay range:

$5,189.00 – $6,701.00 . New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

This position is located in the Division of Law Enforcement, Bureau of Investigation, Sacramento Regional Office.

Qualifications & Requirements

Under the supervision of the Special Agent Supervisor.

Evidence of analytical skills, initiative, independence, and originality.

Excellent communication and sound judgment.

Experience with underground economy investigations, recordkeeping, and statistical reporting is preferred.
