We are looking for an exceptionally organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support a VP within our organization. In this role, you will be the operational backbone that enables our leaders to scale their impact and drive key initiatives. You will do more than just manage schedules and logistics; you are a force multiplier who anticipates challenges, streamlines complex processes, and acts as a central point of communication for a fast-paced global team.
Your work will directly contribute to the success of a team shaping the future of the cloud.
You will masterfully navigate competing priorities, manage an intricate calendar for the VP across multiple time zones, and coordinate high-impact team activities.

This role is based in Seattle, WA and requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars.
Manage complex calendars and scheduling requirements.
Act as a liaison for direct reports.
Drive key team activities such as staff meeting agendas, all‑hands meetings, and supply ordering.
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on items.
Coordinate travel for the VP.
Participate in planning of events.
Create a positive work environment.
Collaborate with other assistants across Database Services and the broader organization.
A day in the life Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and projects quickly, and proactively take action without having to know the total picture. You will learn organizational structures and objectives of the teams you support, as well as build a strong internal network. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long‑term career growth.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of senior‑level leadership support, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
Experience with executive‑level calendar management.
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
Experience handling administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech company.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large global teams.
Experience leading process improvements.
Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency.
Experience with workspace planning/management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
