Responsibilities
Ensure that our customers’ needs are met and exceeded through effective day‑to‑day management of the operations and merchandising functions for the Center Store Department.
Oversee Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction, including back room and steel/shelving and conditions, inventory, schematics, and pricing.
Provide leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflective of Lucky’s mission statement and winning behaviors.
Train and develop associates to enable their success and ability to advance in their careers.
Manage department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.
Qualifications
Education:
Two‑year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
Experience:
Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation or two years equivalent management experience or current Bakery Department Manager, Meat Department Manager, or Produce Department Manager role.
Other:
Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be forklift certified.
Physical Requirements
Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis.
Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
Compensation Hiring pay range: $25.36 - $36.48
