Position Overview The Center Store Manager ensures that our customers’ needs are met and exceeded through effective day-to-day management of the operations and merchandising functions for the Center Store Department. This position oversees Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and steel/shelving and conditions, inventory, schematics, and pricing).

The Center Store Manager provides leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflecting Lucky's mission statement and winning behaviors. This position trains and develops associates to enable their success and ability to advance in their careers. The Center Store Manager manages department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations and merchandising of the Center Store Department.

Optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction through effective product and condition management.

Train, develop, and lead Center Store associates, fostering a culture of mission alignment and winning behaviors.

Manage department performance and productivity to meet store objectives.

Maintain inventory, schematics, and pricing to ensure competitiveness and compliance.

Qualifications

Education: Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience.

Experience: Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation or two years equivalent management experience; or experience in Bakery, Meat, or Produce Department Manager roles.

Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours and be forklift certified.

Physical: Standing and frequent physical movements; lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

Pay Range Hiring pay range: $25.36 - $36.48 per hour.
