JR4631STV is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Specialist in Texas. The successful candidate will provide engineering and funding support to our municipal clients throughout Texas and other states. The position will work with our Water teams to complete various project aspects as needed, including advising clients, providing project management support, managing funding applications,

tracking and confirming requirements for compliance, reviewing and developing project documents, and other items as needed. The ideal candidate will typically work with moderate direction and complete new assignments with general instruction to determine appropriate methods and

procedures for completing new assignments.Responsibilities:* Serve as a subject matter expert and provide compliance support for Texas Water Development* Board (TWDB) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other financing and grant* programs.* Support funding applications and service pursuits for existing and new clients.* Assist in development of abstracts and presentations for client meetings, conferences or* industry organization meetings.* Serve as an advisor to project managers and client service leaders related to state and federal* funding opportunities.* Production of contract documents including plans and specifications* Prepare construction and design cost estimates.* Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, pumping,* storage, and treatment systems.* Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business* development of future projects.Requirements:* 8+ years of related experience (preferably in A/E/C firm or related agency).* Proficiency with Microsoft suite, including Outlook.* Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.* Ability to work with a multidisciplinary project team.* Exceptional time management and organizational skills.* Self-starter* Occasional travel throughout the state of TexasPreferred Skills and Experience:* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES* equivalent.* Experience or specific course work in water and wastewater systems is a plus.* Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT)* Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.* Participation in professional organizations as well as joining a committee would be a plusCompensation Range:$90,681.10 - $120,908.13STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (16 days) • Paid Holidays (8 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
