The HR Coordinator role at Merrill Gardens is based at our Corporate Office in Seattle (Eastlake), WA. The base pay range is $24.65/hr - $33.35/hr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This position is with a privately-owned family company with a long history of success.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Assisting with HRIS system maintenance, data accuracy, and user support
  • Aiding in recruitment-related tasks through our applicant tracking system
  • Maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
  • Building collaborative relationships across departments and providing outstanding customer service to both team members and leadership
  • Taking initiative to learn, grow, and contribute to department-wide projects and process improvements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in HR or related internships (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly learn HRIS platforms (UKG Pro experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A high degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Interest in pursuing PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred)
