Summary / Objective As the Territory Business Manager, you are responsible for the promotion of Beta Bionics products and services within your assigned geography. You will manage the sales process in endocrinology practices, internal medicine, and some primary care offices. In partnership with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist and Inside Sales Specialist, you are accountable for achieving and exceeding sales results by strategic targeting, business planning/analytics, and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. This role requires strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a passion to serve people living with diabetes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive territory sales goals, meeting or exceeding targets.
Plan business strategy, perform strategic targeting, and use analytics to manage the territory through Salesforce.com.
Communicate effectively with patients with diabetes, healthcare professionals, and office staff.
Demonstrate Beta Bionics products with high proficiency and expertise.
Establish mutually beneficial relationships with customers at all levels.
Collaborate closely between Clinical Diabetes Specialists and Inside Sales Specialists.
Partner with cross‑functional teams throughout the organization – Market Access, Marketing, Customer Care.
Show expertise in the diabetes disease state, competitive and treatment landscape, and industry knowledge.
Effectively problem‑solve in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience in medical device/tech and/or biopharma.
Diabetes sales experience required.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Prior insulin pump sales experience preferred.
Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment
This is a field‑based position. Candidate must reside in the geography specified in the job title.
Physical Demands
Regularly independent mobile duties, computer interaction, and communication with coworkers.
Travel required depending on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary for this position is $90,000 – $120,000, plus an annual commission target, resulting in an annual earnings target of $169,500 – $199,500. Beta Bionics offers a competitive compensation package that includes equity and comprehensive benefit offerings.
