Office Manager (Onsite – Chelsea, Manhattan)
Location: Manhattan, NY (Chelsea)
Compensation: $70,000–$75,000 per year

About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing historical construction subcontractor based in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, specializing in high-end restoration and preservation projects across New York City. As they continue to expand, they’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support their growing team.
About the Role This onsite position serves as the hub of operations in the Chelsea showroom. The Office Manager will handle administrative and operational functions, assist with HR tasks, support billing and documentation, and ensure the business runs efficiently behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the office and showroom.
Manage construction-related administrative tasks, paperwork, and transaction processing.
Track and record PTO, reimbursements, and expenses using Expensify.
Utilize Monday.com, Dropbox, and Slack to organize workflows and communication.
Support HR functions including employee documentation, onboarding forms, and internal communications.
Maintain and order office and showroom inventory.
Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and AIA billing processes.
Prepare lien waivers, release forms, and project payment documentation.
Collaborate with accounting and leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all operations.
Qualifications ✅ 4–5 years of office management or admin experience in a construction-related environment
✅ Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
✅ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have:
Spanish bilingual skills
Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
Familiarity with AIA billing and lien waiver documentation
