Consulting Solutions Architect (Indianapolis, IN)

Presidio is looking for a Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) to play a critical role in the Mid‑Central Region.

Job Summary

The CSA will provide a business‑focused approach and high‑touch engagement with high‑profile public sector accounts, evangelizing Presidio product offerings and new vendor technologies.

Travel Requirements

This position requires same‑day travel across the Presidio Indiana and Ohio markets and will be based in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the customer business model, strategy, and objectives.
• Fully understand the customer metrics for measuring success at individual and corporate levels.
• Agree with the account manager on strategy for covered accounts and establish bi‑weekly or monthly account review sessions.
• Build trust with assigned accounts through technical relationship building, integrity, leadership, and professionalism.
• Present Presidio’s portfolio, capabilities, and broad solutions set.
• Drive services and product sales across all areas, leveraging subject‑matter experts when needed.
• Provide strategic consulting and advice to primary assigned clients.
• Act as the technical lead on all multi‑practice engagements.
• Provide thought leadership to clients during their digital transformation.
• Update Salesforce with relevant account information and activity.
• Participate onsite with assigned clients on a regular basis.
• Engage proactively with assigned accounts, initiating strategic meetings.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 7+ years of overall relevant experience, including 5+ years in Pre‑Sales, Consulting, Enterprise Architecture design or 5+ years as a technology executive.
• Self‑motivated.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

• Thorough understanding of Networking Architecture, Cloud Networking, and Network Automation.
• Thorough understanding of Data Center Software‑Defined Architecture.
• Thorough understanding of Collaboration Systems and Architecture.
• Thorough understanding of Security Frameworks and their applicable use cases.

Additional Desired Skills

• AI/ML understanding.
• Observability.
• Cloud Hyper‑Scaler experience.
• Public sector experience.
