Position Overview
The Stagecoach Group is seeking an experienced Production Assistant to support crews in the field coordinating logistics, transporting gear, keeping production components (from development meetings to post-production ingest) on track, and maintaining a strong attention to detail to ensure smooth production for days to weeks at a time.
Responsibilities
Manage digital workflow on set and remotely
Oversee data management in the field
Assist in lighting interviews and serve as a grip when needed
Coordinate logistics for shoots, from booking travel to writing schedules and any other related administrative duties
Work closely with people at all stages of the development and production process to streamline communication and workflows across teams
Manage and track the flow of incoming and outgoing materials along with maintaining internal system to track project statuses
Assist in shooting b-roll and behind the scenes content as needed
Qualifications
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick‑thinking, flexible, thorough, and capable of juggling multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is proactive and able to exercise good judgment and initiative while working with a high-volume and high-profile production slate.
Bachelor’s degree (connection to production preferred)
Preferred 2 years in the production and/or entertainment industry
Confident, proactive communication and collaboration skills
Creative and detail oriented
Working knowledge of production and post-production workflows with the ability to quickly problem solve and work in high-profile, high-stress environments
Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Good collaborator, team player with a positive attitude
