Position Overview
The Stagecoach Group is seeking an Associate Development Producer to work directly under the Head of Development, supporting the ideation, packaging, and pitch process across our slate of original and branded projects and our commercial client work. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of creative development cycles, storytelling formats, and the marketplace, from documentaries and premium series to brand campaigns and partnerships. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a keen eye for design, research, and strategy. You’ll help translate ideas into compelling decks, treatments, and pitches that embody our signature storytelling excellence. Responsibilities
Support all phases of creative development, from concept generation to pitch delivery, across The Stagecoach Group’s slate. Conduct industry, cultural, and subject research to inform story and brand development. Design and draft visually polished pitch decks, treatments, and one-sheets (in Adobe, Canva, Keynote, etc.). Help draft brand storytelling concepts and messaging frameworks for partnerships, campaigns, and series. Write and refine loglines, overviews, episode examples, and creative briefs based on brainstorms and development notes. Track and manage the development slate, including project summaries, outreach efforts, and market intel. Provide coverage and creative notes on submissions, collaborators, and existing materials. Collaborate with producers, directors, and creative partners to ensure narrative and visual cohesion. Strong client engagement and relationship management skills, adept at balancing creative expectations, timelines, and deliverables. Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in development, branded content, or creative production, ideally at a production company, network, or agency. Strong writing and storytelling instincts with an understanding of what sells in the current marketplace. Proven experience creating pitch decks, treatments, or creative proposals for buyers, brands, or platforms. Fluency in Canva, Keynote, or Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Airtable or similar tracking tools a plus. Excellent research and synthesis skills, able to distill complex topics into engaging, visual narratives. Collaborative, self‑motivated, and proactive, comfortable working independently while contributing to a small, high‑functioning team. Excellent communication and organizational skills with sharp attention to detail. A genuine passion for authentic, purpose‑driven storytelling that merges culture, creativity, and impact. Experience interfacing with brands, agencies, or talent partners in a creative or production capacity. Knowledge of the documentary, commercial, and branded entertainment landscape.
