Summary

The Administrator - Corporate Accounting position will review daily transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards, and perform month-end closing.

Responsibilities Lead the daily review of transactions, ensuring proper backup documentation and accuracy

Post entries accurately and promptly into the accounting system Oversee the review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data Proactively investigate and resolve complex discrepancies or errors that arise during the reconciliation process Collaborate with the accounting team to conduct research and analysis on various accounting issues Stay updated with accounting principles and regulations Determine revenue and cost according to the accrual basis of accounting Play a key role in preparing accruals during month-end closing to ensure proper recognition of revenues and costs in the appropriate accounting period Analyze revenue and cost figures posted in the current year that pertain the previous year Manage the accrual balances from the previous year and ensure they are accurately reflected in the current year's financial statements Perform direct margin simulations and conduct a comprehensive analysis of the profit and loss statement Review and validate the accuracy of financial data before finalizing the books Revisit worksheets or SAP data, if necessary, to ensure accuracy Oversee and manage accrual aging reports, monitoring outstanding balances Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely invoicing for accounts receivable and accounts payable based on accruals Provide guidance and support in implementing changes or updates to invoicing procedures Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and accounting standards Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance

Prepare periodic P&L analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports

Compare the actual financial performance to the business plan and provide insights on variations and trends Play a pivotal role in supporting the preparation of financial audits and leading audit-related activities Oversee the preparing of relevant documentation and ensure full compliance with audit requirements Verify and apply new contracts or changes/updates in customer/vendor contracts Ensure accurate recording of contract terms and conditions in the accounting system Oversee the the reconciliation of remaining balance sheet balances, such as prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and other accounts Take charge of resolving open balances and ensuring accurate and complete financial data Analyze billing and payable procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement Lead the development and implementation of better solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in the accounting process All other duties as assigned

Compensation Range

$68,000 - $74,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Bachelor's Degree Required 5 - 8 years of experience relating to Accounting or Finance Required 6 - 9 years of experience relating to Accounting or Finance Preferred Physical Requirements
