Matthews & Jones _ is a reputable law firm that provides exceptional legal services to clients across Florida. Our litigation team is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team in Destin, Florida. As a Legal Assistant, you will work with our team of attorneys to provide legal support, conduct legal research, and assist with case management.
Responsibilities
:
Assist with drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research and assist with case analysis
Manage case files and maintain accurate records
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and court appearances
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
Qualifications
:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
