Description Conduct assessments for patients of all ages, utilizing standardized testing and observational evaluations. Design tailored treatment plans targeting both immediate communication goals and the longer-term needs related to cognitive or swallowing disorders. Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to develop integrated care plans. Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate continued improvement beyond clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring that care remains uninterrupted through each step of the patient's treatment process. Maintain precise and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continued learning to keep pace with advancements in the field and to enhance peer collaboration. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be achieved within 30 days of starting employment. Skills

Strong command of evidence-based treatment methods for a variety of ages, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, both developmental and acquired. Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities with patients, their families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team. Flexibility in adapting therapeutic techniques to cater to varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Sound clinical judgment paired with excellent problem-solving skills.
