Description Conduct evaluations for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments along with hands-on observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans aimed at meeting both immediate and long-term goals focused on communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting areas such as language, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing competency. Work collaboratively alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop unified care methodologies. Educate patients and their families about strategies to support progress achieved during clinical sessions. Provide occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Ensure documentation is thorough and compliant with all regulatory and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and peer networking to keep abreast of the latest advancements in your field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification. Certifications
Valid state licensure to practice as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within a month of starting work. Skills
Expertise in evidence-based practices across diverse age groups, including a solid grasp of both congenital and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
