Description Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing a variety of standardized assessments and observational approaches. Create tailored treatment plans that cater to both short-term objectives and long-term communication or swallowing aspirations. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions, emphasizing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and dysphagia. Engage with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies. Provide education and resources to patients and their families to support their progress outside the clinical environment. Assist with sporadic inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout treatment. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the discipline through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
Valid state license as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
