Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized tests and clinical observation. Design tailored treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication skills, language development, fluency issues, vocalization, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and support networks to construct comprehensive care plans. Educate patients and families on how they can nurture progress beyond clinical interactions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process. Maintain meticulous documentation adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards. Stay at the forefront of your field by engaging in ongoing education and collaborating with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to pursuing ASHA accreditations if not already certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is recommended. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hire. Skills
Depth of knowledge in evidence-based treatment modalities for various age groups, with a strong grasp of both congenital and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
