A Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is needed on a part-time or full-time basis at an outpatient integrated health center in Novato, CA.

Salary and Benefits: Salary: $135,000-$160,000/year (prorated for part-time) Sign-on bonus: $30,000-$50,000 (specific program terms apply) Student loan forgiveness (HRSA/NHSC site) Paid Vacation: 3 weeks first year, 4 weeks second year 10 paid holidays Relocation assistance and site visit reimbursement for out-of-area providers Health, dental, and vision insurance for individuals and families Retirement plan - 403(b) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) CME - time off and allowance Malpractice insurance Part-time schedule: 24 hrs/week; full-time available (up to 40 hrs/week) Responsibilities:
See 16-20 patients per day in outpatient women's health primary care Provide direct patient care for reproductive and women's health patients Perform a mix of women's health and primary care across a woman's lifespan Refer patients appropriately to Gynecology physicians or outside specialists Collaborate with non-Women's Health providers for consultation and education Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation Requirements - Clinical Skills:
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required Proficiency in sexual history taking and contraceptive counseling Proficiency in family history relevant to women's health Evaluation, diagnosis, and management/treatment of: Vaginitis, UTIs STIs Abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, myomas Pregnancy of unknown location / ectopic pregnancy Urinary complaints (incontinence, overactive bladder, painful bladder syndrome) Chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis Adnexal masses, dyspareunia, sexual dysfunction Menopause, hormone therapy Infertility and pre-conception counseling Breast problems Pelvic organ prolapse Procedural Skills:
Pelvic exams (external, bimanual, speculum) Clinical breast exams Wet mount collection, STI testing IUD and subdermal contraceptive implant insertion/removal (certified) Paracervical block, endometrial biopsy Preferred: vulvar biopsies, pelvic organ prolapse evaluation, straight catheterization, pessary fitting, vulvar incision/drainage, Word catheter, genital wart treatment Colposcopy, cervical biopsy, suturing, post-op care, catheter management, basic wound care, pelvic ultrasound preferred Licensing & Experience:
DEA license required Valid and unrestricted California NP or PA license Minimum 3 years post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience in community health settings highly preferred COVID-19 vaccination required unless exemption provided
