Responsibilities
Review and interpret the medical and social history of both male and female reproductive health patients.
Perform appropriate medical screening procedures/exams for both male and female patients.
Interpret laboratory data, order additional laboratory investigations when indicated and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
Provide a full range of contraceptive methods, including self‑administered options and injections.
Perform medical assessment and management of basic STI and genito‑urinary conditions for both male and female patients.
Provide medication abortion as indicated.
Prescribe and educate on emergency contraception.
Diagnose and treat uncomplicated STIs and genitourinary conditions.
Perform wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures.
Provide gender‑affirming hormone therapy and related care.
Offer premenopausal and menopausal health services.
Act as a medical consultant to clinic staff.
Manage emergency situations in the health center.
Participate in staff meetings related to center management and provide staff training in current medical procedures relevant to reproductive health.
Contribute to achieving health center productivity goals.
Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards.
Assist in other areas of center support work as required.
Clinical Care
Review and interpret medical and social history of reproductive health patients.
Perform medical screening procedures/evaluations.
Interpret lab data; order additional labs as needed and follow up.
Offer a full range of contraceptive methods including self‑administered options and injections.
Manage basic STI and genitourinary conditions.
Provide medication abortion, emergency contraception, and treatment for uncomplicated STIs and genitourinary conditions.
Conduct wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures.
Deliver gender‑affirming hormone therapy and related care.
Offer premenopausal and menopausal health services.
Provide medical consultation to clinic staff.
Manage emergency situations.
Participate in staff meetings and train staff in current medical procedures.
Contribute to productivity goals.
Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards.
Provide additional support as needed.
Patient‑Centered Exams & Management
Conduct and interpret medical histories for sexual and reproductive health visits.
Perform pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other screening procedures.
Order and interpret laboratory tests; ensure timely follow‑up.
Manage urgent health situations during clinic operations.
Team Engagement
Act as a clinical resource for medical assistants and support staff.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to clinic productivity and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care.
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Women’s Health NP (WHNP), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program.
Current, unrestricted license to practice in California.
Board Certification.
CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).
Strong customer service mindset and ability to thrive in a team‑based environment.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows‑based systems).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, gender‑affirming care, or family planning.
