Your Role and Impact

As Controller, you will be the financial leader of the company, a key member of the management team, and a strategic partner in our success. You won't just oversee day-to-day accounting; you'll play a critical role in shaping our financial future, strengthening our internal controls, and ensuring operations with the highest level of integrity. This is a hands-on leadership position for a professional ready to make a direct impact on the success of an employee-owned business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy:

Manage and lead a team of 20 accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management team Research and provide annual financial projections and forecasts to guide strategic business decisions Identify and implement new financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity across the Accounting Department Fiscal Integrity & Compliance:

Design, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all financial accounts and compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings Stakeholder Partnership:

Coordinate and support all external audits, including those for business financials, 401(k), and ESOP Serve as a key liaison with banking institutions, managing loans and other financial priorities Oversee company credit card programs and the expense reimbursement process, ensuring compliance and timely reconciliation What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CMA designation highly preferred 5+ years of proven experience as a Controller or in a similar senior-level accounting role Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP) Demonstrated experience managing a team and fostering a positive, productive work environment Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality Software: SAGE AND DM2 Why This Opportunity Stands Out
