Lead the financial foundation of a company changing how homes are built. An industry leader redefining HVAC through patented, energy-efficient systems that solve some of homebuilding's biggest challenges is adding a hands-on Controller to strengthen financial operations, refine systems and support scalable growth. This role blends accounting execution with operational partnership. You'll manage everything from AP/AR and inventory reconciliation to budgeting, credit oversight and monthly close ensuring accuracy and accountability as the company accelerates into its next phase. They want someone smart, resourceful and humble, a leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and operate with urgency.

Controller Responsibilities: Manage AP/AR and oversee transactional accounting Own month-end close and create accurate, timely financial statements Maintain general ledger integrity, revenue recognition and fixed asset depreciation Lead budget creation, forecasting and annual planning processes Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation across warehouse operations Manage credit approvals, customer payment terms and expense reporting Support order entry validation and high-value B2B transactions Coordinate freight billing, logistics costs and contract manufacturer cost tracking Liaise with external CPA for tax preparation and compliance Provide reporting and performance insights to CEO and leadership Identify process improvements and scalability opportunities while building structure Controller Requirements:

6+ years of Controller or Accounting Manager experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment Strong hands-on skills Comfortable owning transactions and month-end execution Proven inventory accounting and cost reconciliation experience Small-company or startup background where building structure is required Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment Strong communication skills Curious, driven mindset with a "figure it out and fix it" approach Experience with Canadian operations/accounting c NetSuite proficiency preferred Project management or process improvement success preferred Benefits:
