We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable
Maintenance Technician
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks, ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and systems. This is a hands-on role requiring the technician to provide their own tools and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to avoid equipment breakdowns and costly repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations. Document and report all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task. Collaborate with team members or clients as necessary to ensure work is completed on time and to the required quality standards. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines while performing work. Requirements
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role (2+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Must provide own tools and transportation to and from job sites. Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency situations if required.
