Human Resources Coordinator (3-Month Contract with Potential Extension)
A well-known nonprofit organization is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team on a hybrid basis. This is a 3-month assignment with the potential to be extended based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and operational support to the HR department
Assist with recruitment, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Process new hire paperwork and assist with benefits and payroll coordination
Support HR compliance efforts, including policy documentation and recordkeeping
Respond to employee inquiries and help ensure a positive employee experience
Collaborate with HR team members to support various projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in a professional setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Position Details:
Hybrid role - combination of remote and in-office work
Contract: 3 months with potential for extension
Compensation $30-$33 per hour DOE
Located in Mission Valley, San Diego
Full-time, Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST
