Job Title: Human Resources Director Location: Spring Valley, CA LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions and ensure compliance with California employment laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and compliance management.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and terminations

Administer workers' compensation claims, maintain compliance documentation, and coordinate with insurance carriers

Ensure company policies and procedures align with California labor laws and update as regulations evolve

Support leadership with employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR reporting

Lead HR initiatives that foster employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.

Qualifications:

3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of California employment laws and compliance standards

Experience managing workers' compensation cases and employee relations

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; HR certification (PHR/SPHR) a plus

Position Details:

Location: Spring Valley, San Diego

Type: Contract to hire role

Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST

Compensation: $30-$38 per hour DOE

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Spring Valley, offering a great opportunity to make a lasting impact within a growing organization.
