We're seeking a
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Manager
to lead and support outpatient and intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs. This role is ideal for a certified counselor with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of recovery, and a commitment to community wellness.
Responsibilities
Support the Program Director in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring timely client services.
Train and mentor new and existing staff, interns, and volunteers. Lead recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to state and county regulations, oversee CalOMS and other mandatory reports, and maintain program certifications (DMC, AOD).
Oversee billing practices, track financial performance, and support program sustainability.
Facilitate group and individual counseling, oversee treatment plans, and ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
Lead outreach efforts to raise awareness about substance use risks and build partnerships with DCFS, parole, probation, and other agencies.
Qualifications
Certified SUD Counselor with Clinical Supervision credentials. Required
A minimum 5 years of experience in human services or community-based substance use programs.
A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team.
Familiarity with SAPC billing procedures.
Strong understanding of recovery models, including 12-step programs.
Experience developing curricula and conducting observed drug testing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with documentation and reporting.
Must have reliable transportation, valid CA driver license, and be willing to travel between sites (mileage reimbursed)

$70,000-$80,000 DOE
Pay Details:
$70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
