Key Responsibilities Serve as the customer advocate; gather feedback to guide product teams in shaping future developments and roadmap enhancements. Deliver advanced technical insights to align with go-to-market (GTM) teams, effectively addressing our customers' most critical business needs. Act as an industry thought leader by sharing best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and engaging public speaking opportunities. Collaborate with Business Development teams to define and refine technical components of premier GTM solutions and initiatives. Establish and support a global community of technical subject matter experts within AWS. Create enablement materials tailored for the broader Solutions Architect (SA) community, enhancing their understanding of AWS solutions. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) focuses on driving revenue, adoption, and growth from substantial strategic accounts, executing go-to-market strategies to transform AWS initiatives into successful business ventures. You will collaborate across AWS, providing end-to-end expertise across the lifecycle of customer initiatives. Within WWSO, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for crafting In-Memory architectures by utilizing AWS services. Engage with some of the largest organizations worldwide to engineer flexible and cost-efficient cloud solutions. Produce informative whitepapers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations enabling customers and partners to utilize AWS services effectively. Additionally, you will generate materials for the SA community to facilitate the integration of AWS caching services into various architectures. As a trusted advisor, share insights on security, cost-effectiveness, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to expedite the implementation of key data solutions on AWS for our customers. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of design and implementation experience with NoSQL technologies and key-value stores such as ElastiCache, Aerospike, Redis, and Memcached. 3+ years of software architecture and development experience in programming languages including Java, Python, Go, and Node.js. A degree in computer science, software engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent work experience with a total of 10 years. Solid understanding of networking, storage, and necessary hardware optimizations. Proven ability to collaborate across multiple business units to achieve impactful results. Familiarity with computing deployment models regarding databases and analytics. Competency in modern software development practices such as Agile methodologies and DevOps. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large-scale clients. In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with Redis. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with executives, IT management, and developers. Practical experience with database-related services, specifically Amazon Aurora, Lambda, Amazon Elasticache, Amazon OpenSearch, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 Container Service, and Amazon Kinesis. AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise is highly desirable.
