About the Role: The AR Claims & Deductions Analyst reports to the AR ClaimsSupervisor and is primarily responsible for researching customer deductions andclaims, obtaining backup, and disputing and escalating as needed. This is aNorth American role, which is responsible for USA, Canada, and Mexico. Thisrole will assist with the tracking, research, reconciliation, dispute, andfollow-up of payment claims, deductions, and short payments that remain open inthe AR ledger. The AR Claims Analyst will interact frequently with the Operationsand Sales teams to manage day-to-day payment claim disputes and to escalateoverdue claims. This role will help investigate and gather evidence to supportthe day-to-day claim disputes that arise from deductions taken on customerpayments. To be successful in this role, the Claims Analyst must be able effectivelybuild and leverage relationships, both internally and with external partners,with the ultimate goal of resolving outstanding claims and deductions.Successful candidates should have strong Excel skills, and also a persistentattitude and strong organization and follow-up.
Must-have qualifications 3+ years in AR credit/collections with direct claims/deductions experience (consumer-goods background preferred). Familiarity working with major customers and their portals (Amazon, Walmart, Crate & Barrel, etc.). Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data formatting). Comfortable analyzing and reconciling data from different sources. Ability to stay on top of multiple priorities in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Nice-to-have tools & tech Microsoft Dynamics D365/AX, Salesforce, Power BI. Experience working in retailer portals and with EDI claims.
Success profile Persistent, organized, and able to juggle high claim volumes in a fast-paced, tech-heavy environment. Detail-oriented problem-solver who can escalate issues independently and track them to closure. Can work independently but enjoy being part of a collaborative team Comfortable working remotely with the flexibility to come on-site when required.
