School-Based Equity Teams
Description:
School Leadership and Equity Team Members will oversee the development and implementation of practices and policies designed to improve equity within the district, including the implementation of the school's Positive Behavioral Intervention System. Teams will collaborate to eliminate inequities and disparities in student achievement. Teams will also work to foster an environment that is safe and healthy for students, as well as promote an inclusive culture that engages family, staff, and community members through encouraging conversations about social justice and equity.
Responsibilities: Attend 12, one-hour meetings after school Requirements:
Must currently be employed as a Teacher or Guidance Counselor Preferred Qualifications:
Strong collaboration skills Knowledge of strategies that support the implementation of school-wide PBIS. Essential Duties:
Attend meetings regularly. Participate in protocols to analyze school-based data and outline next steps to support the implementation of PBIS in your schools. Contribute suggestions and research ideas that support the strengthening of equity and sense of belonging in the school. Share outcomes and next steps from the team with the whole school community. Support school-wide efforts that strengthen equity and a sense of belonging. Compensation:
12 hours at $40/hour

6 per building
