Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines, mills, and lathes to produce precision molds.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, mills, and lathes to produce precision molds.

Read and interpret 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine machining requirements.

Set up machines using fixtures, clamps, and overhead cranes for larger components.

Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in CNC machining.

Proficiency in CNC programming and setup (editing required, no need to build from scratch).

Experience with molds specifically.

Ability to work accurately to a tolerance of .001 of an inch.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in small runs (1-8 parts).

Ability to work mainly with medium-sized parts and occasionally larger ones.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate controlled, well-lit, and meticulously maintained to ensure a clean shop atmosphere. The role involves working the 3rd shift from 9pm to 7:30am, mainly handling medium-sized parts, with occasional larger components.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hartford, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $100500.00/yr.
