Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Area Site Safety Manager to join their client's team. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. Working under the direction of the Regional Safety Manager, the Area Site Safety Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and auditing of safety policies across various levels. This role involves direct interaction with field employees, company management, and customers to foster a strong HSE culture. Responsibilities
Establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure the project maintains an injury-free environment. Coach and mentor employees and management in safe practices and regulations. Assist in preparation of Job Hazard Analysis and Site Safety Plans. Ensure adequate provision of first aid and welfare facilities and support. Conduct proper and timely assessments of risks to health and safety, implementing necessary measures. Liaise with other organizations and relevant authorities, providing assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions. Perform safety audits/inspections and report on health and safety practices and systems. Oversee subcontractors and vendors' HSE planning, performance, and compliance during their work. Provide technical expertise during incident investigations and personally investigate serious incidents. Develop and implement procedures to eliminate hazards and situations discovered through lessons learned and investigations from prior incidents. Promote and cultivate a safety culture within all levels of management, front line supervisors, and employees. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in construction safety. CHST certification preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations including Title 8, OSHA 1926. 30-hour OSHA instructor qualified and/or EM385 course work preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) required. Active membership and participation in HSE professional associations required. Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs. Benefits

This position requires 0-5% travel to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or project/customer site(s). The role involves physical demands, including the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
