Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Safety Site Manager to join their client's team in California. This temporary position will run from October 2025 to August 2026 and will be located in San Jose, CA. The Safety Site Manager will ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. Working under the direction of the Safety Director, this role involves developing, implementing, and auditing safety policies while providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel. Responsibilities
Assist the Safety Director with the oversight and implementation of company safety processes on the jobsite. Respond to, oversee, and facilitate appropriate injury management and incident investigation/communication. Manage safety programs through development, implementation, and management of the company's safety policies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws. Provide leadership and technical advice to all levels of the construction management team. Collaborate with managers to develop and maintain a strong safety culture. Work with customers and site general contractors to ensure compliance with standards and procedures. Provide safety training at the site level as needed. Position Requirements Minimum CHST BCSP Certification. Minimum OSHA 510 certification. Relevant scope and team management experience. First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training. Emergency procedures training. NFPA 70E and LOTO competency and experience. Mental Health First Aid Training. Must obtain a minimum of OSHA 10-hour within 30 days of starting work at the project site. Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required Minimum 5 years of construction or maintenance experience in safety or operations. Minimum 5 years of safety management experience. CHST required. Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance requirements and OSHA. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other office applications. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with field personnel, internal staff, clients, and officials. Ability to design and deliver effective training and presentations. Valid driver's license meeting company requirements. Ability to navigate jobsites and perform inspections in various weather conditions. Required Work Hours
