We are looking for a Safety Manager to join our Owner’s Rep team in Port Washington, WI. The role oversees all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations for data center construction projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and client‑specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement site‑specific safety plans (SSSP) in accordance with OSHA, client standards, and corporate safety policies.

Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site safety orientations for new workers and contractors.

Perform routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; document findings and ensure corrective actions.

Act as the primary on‑site contact for incident response, investigation, and reporting processes.

Coordinate with construction managers, project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safe operations.

Maintain accurate safety records, including JSAs, incident logs, PPE usage, and permits.

Oversee safe installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systems in data centers.

Support compliance with environmental regulations and fire/life safety requirements for critical infrastructure.

Facilitate periodic HSE training programs (working at heights, LOTO, confined space entry, electrical safety).

Report KPIs and safety metrics to corporate leadership and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field.

5+ years of safety management experience on large‑scale construction projects; data center construction experience preferred.

Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards.

Relevant certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30‑Hour Construction.

Experience with mission‑critical facilities and their safety considerations.
