We are seeking a
Senior Financial Operations Consultant
to provide strong financial leadership and operational oversight for an interim time. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring readiness for the upcoming audit. The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional who can step in immediately, manage ongoing accounting activities, and guide the department through this busy season with confidence and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper categorization of accounts.
Oversee and execute budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes.
Manage payroll operations, benefits administration, and 401(k) oversight with precision and confidentiality.
Perform and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other core accounting functions.
Ensure the department remains audit-ready by maintaining complete documentation and supporting schedules.
Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommend improvements to internal processes.
Supervise and support accounting staff to maintain workflow efficiency and data integrity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum
5 years of progressive experience
in finance, accounting, or similar leadership role.
Proven experience managing audits, budgets, payroll, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of
QuickBooks
and familiarity with
Traverse Global
or similar accounting software.
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Pay Details:
$30.00 to $39.00 per hour
